Gel Baba

My mother recently bought me this gel for my face…?
It is called “Baba de Caracol” which I looked up and the translation was “Snail Dribble”(or slime). It is suppose to work on the acne on my face but I am very skeptical about it.
My question is… How does this gel work??
Also is there anyone who has tried it and gotten good results out of it?
